Zoom activities set at the senior center – Times-Standard

All programs at the Humboldt Senior Resource Center are open, although some services are changing at this time. Staff are available by phone during normal business hours; call 707-443-9747.

Referrals to Adult Day Health, Home Delivered Meals, MSSP and Redwood Coast PACE are accepted.

Elderly food centers remain closed for on-site meals, but a weekly meal pickup is available. Call your nearest Senior Dining Center for required reservations and pickup times: Arcata 707-825-2027, Eureka 707-442-1181, Fortuna 707-725-6245.

The program of Zoom activities for this week is as follows:

Monday: Bingocize (pre-registration required), 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Time of Arts and Crafts (first and third Monday), 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Tuesday: Senior Social Hour, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Poetry reading Easy listening, 3:30 to 4 p.m. Open microphone, 4 to 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday: Bingocize (pre-registration required), 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Senior Social Time, 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. CalFresh Information, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Thursday: Social hour for seniors, 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday quiz, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Friday: No Zoom activity scheduled
