WhatsApp has slowly started making small changes to its user interface. He also recently removed line separators from the discussion list. To state the exact reason why users disliked the color blue is because the new color was not correctly visible in the notification due to its contrast.

WhatsApp is also working on a ‘Flash call functionality in the beta update of Android which will allow users to verify the user’s connection on WhatsApp via a “flash call” instead of the usual 6-digit verification code. This will allow users to log into their WhatsApp account quickly and securely. The “flash calls” feature will not be implemented on WhatsApp for iOS.
