This is what the WhatsApp group poll feature might look like

WhatsApp recently announced several new features for its app. Communities, emoji reactions, new voice call design and other features announced by the company will be rolling out soon with upcoming updates. All of these features have already been spotted in several beta updates for iOS and android platforms. Another feature that has been spotted in recent betas is the ability to create a poll within a group. Now, in a latest report, WABetaInfo has shared a screenshot of how the WhatsApp group poll feature might look like.
According to the report, if you did not vote for an option in the poll, you will be able to see the poll question in a message followed by the options. To vote, you will need to select an option and press the “Vote” button. Once you vote, your choice will be shared with the other participants in the group. The report suggests that group surveys, available options, and your response are all end-to-end encrypted.
As the feature is still in development, you cannot create or send surveys. We also know how many options can be given for a poll. According to the report, the feature will still take some time to reach the rollout stage.
The functionality to create a group poll was already available on Facebook Messengers and will also soon be available on Instagram. Until now, the option to create a poll was only available for Instagram Stories. With the new feature, you will be able to receive survey results from a select group of users.
